Over the past 28 years Mr. Altobella has functioned in a President, CEO, and/or executive
leadership role for both publicly and privately held healthcare organizations,
responsible for the management and leadership to over 12,000 healthcare
professionals. His leadership & operational responsibilities have served
physicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and behavioral health staff that
have provided medical, surgical, habilitative, and rehabilitative programs and
services at over 500 inpatient, outpatient, community & residential
Mr. Altobella has especially advocated for the rehabilitation therapy industry as he has been serving on the Board of The National Association of Rehab Providers & Agencies, He was elected President of NARA 3 terms, 2005 thru 2011, and continues to serve on the Board of Directors. Further, he accepted the American Speech Language & Hearing Association's (ASHA's) appointment to serve a term on its Board of Directors for its Political Action Committee, 2013 thru 2016. From 2008 until 2011 he had also served on ASHA's Finance Committee.
Mr. Altobella received his training as a Speech Language Pathologist from Eastern Illinois University, receiving his Masters and Bachelors of Science in 1988 and 1989 respectively. In 2006 he was honored by his alma mater with the Distinguished Alumnus Award and also received The Eagle Leadership Award from the National Association of Rehabilitation Providers & Agencies (NARA) in 2011.
In 2013, he formed Synapse Health Group, LLC, a unique organization that is leading and facilitating change in healthcare providers ranging from rehabilitation therapy companies, hospitals, home health agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and medical technologies across the nation. Mr. Altobella is passionate about the need to think differently about new ways of delivering healthcare efficiently, effectively, and with integrity.
Amy Rozenberg, MPT, MBA

Amy Received her Bachelors in Allied Health and a Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University. Amy also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Over the past 14 years, Amy has applied her knowledge and skill in treating patients in Geriatric Outpatient, Inpatient Rehab Hospital, Long Term Acute Care Hospital, SNF, AL/IL, Day Rehab, HH. She has worked with leading healthcare providers in the Chicago land area such as The Comprehensive Group, Rehab Institute of Chicago at Alexian Brothers Hospital. Amy is a member of NARA and has served on their Board of Directors. She is also a past member of APTA. In 2013 Amy joined Synapse Health Group to support the efforts in Clincal Operations and Compliance improvement iniatives for our clients.
Leah Herde, MA, LPC-I

Leah Herde received her BA in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and her MA in Counseling from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. Over the last 18 years, Leah has focused her career in case management and operations in a variety of healthcare settings, holding positions at Merck and Co. and Hazelden Chicago. Leah’s experience has allowed her to work with a diverse range of populations from pediatrics to adults and geriatrics, as well as education and intervention for substance abuse and other psychological disorders. Currently, Leah is serving in a project management / executive consultative role with Synapse Health Group, supporting and facilitating change in care coordination and delivery amongst businesses and healthcare providers nationwide that span across the continuum of care.
